Role Overview
We are looking for a Hardware Lead to own end-to-end hardware development. This is a deeply hands-on role with responsibility across PCB design, sensor integration, power optimization, and validation. You will work closely with firmware, test, and manufacturing partners to take hardware from
concept to mass production.
Responsibilities
● Lead end-to-end hardware design for ultra-small wearable devices, including
schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection.
● Own sensor integration and analog/digital circuitry for physiological and motion
sensing.
● Design for ultra-low-power operation and tight form-factor constraints.
● Partner closely with firmware engineers to ensure robust HW/FW integration and
performance.
● Drive lab bring-up, debugging, and iterative validation of hardware prototypes.
● Ensure design readiness for manufacturing, including DFM/DFT considerations and
CM coordination.
● Document hardware architecture, design decisions, and validation results for clear
handoff.
● Mentor junior or mid-level hardware engineers, as needed.
Requirements
● Strong expertise in PCB design, schematic capture, and signal integrity for compact
devices.
● Solid analog and digital circuit design experience, including ADC/DAC interfacing and
noise mitigation.
● Proven experience building battery-powered, low-power embedded systems.
● Hands-on sensor integration experience (PPG, ECG, SpO2, accelerometer,
bioimpedance preferred).
● Strong lab skills using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and related
debugging tools.
● Familiarity with DFM/DFT principles and manufacturing workflows for consumer or
wearable electronics.
● Excellent problem-solving ability and strong cross-functional communication skills.
Nice to Have
● Prior experience with wearable devices or medical-grade electronics.
● Exposure to EMC, safety, or regulatory requirements.
● Experience leading small teams or acting as a technical mentor.
