STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES
--------------------------
### 1\. Global Financial Leadership & Strategy
* Strategic Roadmap: Develop and execute a financial strategy that supports long-term business scaling and high-growth objectives.
* Capital Allocation: Drive budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis to optimize the Group’s ROI.
* M&A & Valuation: Lead financial due diligence for potential acquisitions and manage global entity valuations.
### 2\. Digital Transformation & AI Integration
* AI-Driven Finance: Collaborate with tech teams to implement AI/ML-driven finance systems for predictive analytics, automated reconciliation, and fraud detection.
* ERP Orchestration: Oversee global Tier-1 ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics), ensuring high automation, data accuracy, and process optimization.
### 3\. Controllership, Compliance & Tax
* Global Consolidation: Lead the month-end/year-end consolidation of multi-country business units under IFRS/GAAP.
* Governance: Maintain a "gold standard" internal control framework and risk mitigation protocols.
* International Tax: Optimize global tax structures, managing transfer pricing and statutory compliance (including UAE Corporate Tax and Indian GST/FEMA regulations).
### 4\. Stakeholder & Investor Relations
* Banking & Audit: Manage high-level relationships with international financial institutions and "Big 4" external auditors.
* Board Advisory: Present transparent, high-impact financial narratives to the Board and global investors.
CFO CANDIDATE: WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* a strong finance background, in global organisations with multiple locations
* Heavy experience as a CPA, managing a group of companies, managing large financial teams of varying expertise
* Experience working with external investors on valuation exercises
* Strong financial reporting, consolidation, and controlling experience
* Expertise in financial, ERP systems (multiple)
* Some background and experience in software development
* Real AI experience, having worked with or designed AI systems for the financial vertical
* Having worked in a large multi-cultural environment with successful outcomes
* Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment (not a clock watcher)
* Preferably an Indian Chartered Accountant with all the above experience
* Ability to travel to customer meetings outside India
* Experience in building/maintaining high-performing teams
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

### 1\. Professional Certifications (The "Gold Standard")
* Chartered Accountant (ICAI): Preferably an Indian CA with extensive international exposure.
* CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst): To lead high-level investment and capital market strategies.
* CPA / ACCA: Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS and international regulatory frameworks.
### 2\. Technical & Functional Expertise
* Experience: Minimum 20+ years of progressive leadership in multinational, multicultural environments.
* Industry Background: Direct experience in Software Development, SaaS, or Maritime Technology is a significant advantage.
* Operational Grit: A "roll-up-the-sleeves" leader who balances high-level strategy with deep-dive operational accuracy (not a theoretical leader).
